The Sensex ended 1.78% down and the Nifty was down by 1.55%. My portfolio performed better and ended 0.23% down.

Highlights of the week:

• ICICI Bank (5.44% down), Infotech Enterprises (4.64% down) were the worst hit.
  
• Vishal Retail (5.44% up), TCS (4.34% up) made a smart recovery.
  
• Applied for the Take Solutions IPO.
• It was a very volatile week and the markets continue to remain direction-less.
