A phrase that the Oxford English Dictionary reports was first used in 1736. It means "to make an inventory of the merchandise, furniture, etc., in one's own possession, recording its quantity and present value, or to make a careful estimate of one's position with regard to resources, prospects, or the like."

GBN Allotment Out

Finally, some improvement.

I was alloted 25 shares of Global Broadcast News Ltd (aka CNN IBN). You can check your allotment status here.

Applied for the Firstsource Solutions Ltd. (wka ICICI Onesource) IPO on Wednesday. For the first time, I have applied to the Retail limit, hoping for FIRM allotment. The NSE site as of 7 p.m, shows that the issue has been oversubscribed (overall) by 47.46 times. The retail subscription statistics will be updated tomorrow.
