The indices ended flat again. And the yawning gap between the gains posted by the Sensex (0.95% up) and Nifty (0.09% up) show that some specific stocks were rallying and the breadth wasn't good.
However, my portfolio ended with a cool 2.75% up, thanks to the quality listing by GBN.
Highlights of the week:
- Pasrvanath (16.13% down) and Bajaj Hindustan (11.55% down) had a rather nasty week.
- Bajaj Auto flared up, with the news of a possible de-merger and unconfirmed reports about Rajiv and Sanjiv Bajaj going different ways.
- GBN had a quality listing and ended the week with a fine premium of 96.32%
- No allotment in Redington IPO. Refund too has not arrived.
- Applied for the Indian Bank and Power Finance Corporation IPOs.
- Infosys stood strong annulling the losses piled up by other scrips in the portfolio. Bartronics, L&T too pitched in.

bajaj went up last week because of news that its going to win a case in srilanka against ranatunga motors.
Oh! I wasn't aware of this. How much a deal is this Ranatunga motors ?
