A phrase that the Oxford English Dictionary reports was first used in 1736. It means "to make an inventory of the merchandise, furniture, etc., in one's own possession, recording its quantity and present value, or to make a careful estimate of one's position with regard to resources, prospects, or the like."

52:99 - Still doesn't help

52:99, a ratio better than 1:2. Still, it wasn't good enough. The Basis of Allotment of the Mindtree issue can be found here: http://capitalmarket.com/ipocentre/bashow.asp?code=20581

FIRM allotment was not offered to any category. 52:99 was the ratio for the category of 225 shares (the highest possible retail bid).

Bottom line: My luck sucks [period]
