A phrase that the Oxford English Dictionary reports was first used in 1736. It means "to make an inventory of the merchandise, furniture, etc., in one's own possession, recording its quantity and present value, or to make a careful estimate of one's position with regard to resources, prospects, or the like."

Can I borrow some of your luck please ?

Well, after reading "About Rajesh", if you thought I was just trying hard to be a comico, you are MISTAKEN. My luck in the Primary market is at its all-time low.

Info Edge please ...... REJECT
Parsvnath please ...... Fine, will give u some 6K worth
Sobha please .......... REJECT
Tanla please .......... REJECT
Pyramid please ........ REJECT

The amount I applied in the above issues was the multiple closest to, but not exceeding 50K. Well, this was done to overcome the fear of my PAN being sent across. But, now that every demat account has to have a PAN, why this PAN-o-phobia ? No clue.

If you check the BoA (Basis of Allotment) of issues like Sobha, you will realize that retail investors who apply for the maximum possible (multiple closest to, but not exceeding 1 lac), do not get FIRM allotment! So, it is a lottery, keep playing...
