It means "to make an inventory of the merchandise, furniture, etc., in one's own possession, recording its quantity and present value, or to make a careful estimate of one's position with regard to resources, prospects, or the like."

Nitin's Explosive Listing

Nitin Fire Protection had a sensational listing today. The scrip debuted at 332.50, rose sharply to 420 levels, remained there most of the day, then shot up to 502 near the end and finally closed at 484.

That is a fantastic debut for the stock, closing at a premium of 155%.
